The community-based exhibition Private Garden, Public Garden was held at various places in Yoshijima School District and Yoshijima Higashi School District. It was organized by the Executive Committee of Former Naka Waste Incineration Plant Art Project (now the Executive Committee of Hiroshima Art Project), and co-organized by the Division of Contemporary Art and Theory at Hiroshima City University, Yoshijima Community Center in Hiroshima City, and Hiroshima City Citizen and Community Network Foundation, The exhibition was coordinated by Miharu Imai and Kei Nakamura with the curatorial support of Yoshie Okamoto. The artists exhibited include Yusuke Asai, Tatsuo Ebisawa, Ryutaro Fujie, Megumi Fukuda, Atsushi Fukunaga, Gamberotonda, Miharu Imai, Yuko Itakura, Road Izumiyama, Tetsuro Kano, Takayoshi Kitagawa, Mitsuo Maruhashi, Junko Maruyama, Nadegata Instant Party, Tatsu Nishino, Yuko Ohta, Shiho Okinaka, Yuri Shibata, SUIKO, SUIKO EMAR TENGA&MOTEL, Yoshie Takahashi, Naoki Takeda+ Hirofumi Ueda, Masaki Yada, Keiko Yamaguchi, Yodogawa Technique, and Shigeto Yoshida.
